It’s so obvious that ISIS and Boko Haram are just 2 of many CIA/MI6/Mossad death squads that carry out their dirty work and is just boogeymen to justify the hundreds of billions that is spent on the military industrial complex, which is used to impose the will of the plutocratic families, the corporate oligarchs and the international banksters upon the People of the world.

I found this on another website, but have put it in this format so you can share bits and pieces with people who are still not convinced. The fact that the CIA was actively working to help the Libyan rebels topple Gaddafi was no secret, https://sg.news.yahoo.com/cia-sends-teams-libya-us-considers-rebel-aid-20110331-065759-284.html nor were the airstrikes that Obama ordered against the Libyan government. http://articles.latimes.com/2011/mar/29/world/la-fg-obama-libya-20110329However, little was said about the identity or the ideological leanings of these Libyan rebels. Not surprising, considering the fact that the leader of the Libyan rebels later admitted that his fighters included Al-Qaeda linked jihadists who fought against allied troops in Iraq. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/libya/8407047/Libyan-rebel-commander-admits-his-fighters-have-al-Qaeda-links.html These jihadist militants from Iraq were part of what national security analysts commonly referred to as Al-Qaeda in Iraq. Remember Al-Qaeda in Iraq was ISIS before it was rebranded. With the assistance of U.S. and NATO intelligence and air support, the Libyan rebels captured Gaddafi and summarily executed him in the street, all the while enthusiastically chanting “Allah Akbar”. For many of those who had bought the official line about how these rebels were freedom fighters aiming to establish a liberal democracy in Libya, this was the beginning of the end of their illusions. Prior to the U.S. and NATO backed intervention, Libya had the highest standard of living of any country in Africa. This according to the U.N.’s Human Development Index rankings for 2010. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Libya_under_Muammar_Gaddafi#mediaviewer/File:UN_Human_Development_Report_2010_1.PNG However in the years following the coup, the country descended into chaos, with extremism and violence running rampant. Libya is now widely regarded as failed state (of course those who were naive enough to buy into the propaganda leading up to the war get defensive when this is said). Now after Gaddafi was overthrown, the Libyan armories were looted, and massive quantities of weapons were sent by the Libyan rebels to Syria. The weapons, which included anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were smuggled into Syria through Turkey, a NATO ally. The times of London reported on the arrival of the shipment on September 14th, 2012. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/world/middleeast/article3537770.ece Now after Gaddafi was overthrown, the Libyan armories were looted, and massive quantities of weapons were sent by the Libyan rebels to Syria. The weapons, which included anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles were smuggled into Syria through Turkey, a NATO ally. The times of London reported on the arrival of the shipment on September 14th, 2012. (Secondary confirmation in this NYT article) This was just three days after Ambassador Chris Stevens was killed by the attack on the U.S. embassy in Benghazi. Chris Stevens had served as the U.S. government’s liaison to the Libyan rebels since April of 2011. While a great deal media attention has focused on the fact that the State Department did not provide adequate security at the consulate, and was slow to send assistance when the attack started, Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh released an article in April of 2014 http://www.lrb.co.uk/v36/n08/seymour-m-hersh/the-red-line-and-the-rat-line which exposed a classified agreement between the CIA, Turkey and the Syrian rebels to create what was referred to as a “rat line”. The “rat line” was covert network used to channel weapons and ammunition from Libya, through southern turkey and across the Syrian border. Funding was provided by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. With Stevens dead any direct U.S. involvement in that arms shipment was buried, http://www.businessinsider.com/us-syria-heavy-weapons-jihadists-2012-10 and Washington would continue to claim that they had not sent heavy weaponry into Syria. It was at this time that jihadist fighters from Libya began flooding into Syria as well. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/9606691/Syria-despatch-rebel-fighters-fear-the-growing-influence-of-their-Bin-Laden-faction.html And not just low level militants. Many were experienced commanders who had fought in multiple theaters.http://www.longwarjournal.org/archives/2013/11/isis_praised_slain_c.php The U.S. and its allies were now fully focused on taking down Assad’s government in Syria. As in Libya this regime change was to be framed in terms of human rights, and now overt support began to supplement the backdoor channels. http://www.nytimes.com/2013/03/25/world/middleeast/arms-airlift-to-syrian-rebels-expands-with-cia-aid.html?pagewanted=all The growing jihadist presence was swept under the rug and covered up. However as the rebels gained strength, the reports of war crimes and atrocities that they were committing began to create a bit of a public relations problem for Washington. It then became standard policy to insist that U.S. support was only being given to what they referred to as “moderate” rebel forces. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/syria-civil-war-us-will-arm-moderate-rebels-says-barack-obama-confirming-use-of-chemical-weapons-by-president-bashar-alassads-regime-8658368.htmlThis distinction obviously has zero relation to the reality of the situation. In an interview given in April of 2014, FSA commander Jamal Maarouf admitted that his fighters regularly conduct joint operations with Al-Nusra. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/i-am-not-fighting-againstalqaida-itsnot-our-problem-says-wests-last-hope-in-syria-9233424.html Al-Nusra is the official Al-Qa’ida branch in Syria. This statement is further validated by an interview given in June of 2013 by Colonel Abdel Basset Al-Tawil, commander of the FSA’s Northern Front. In this interview he openly discusses his ties with Al-Nusra, and expresses his desire to see Syria ruled by sharia law. (You can verify the identities of these two commanders here in this document from The Institute for the Study of War) http://www.understandingwar.org/sites/default/files/Selected-Supreme-Military-Command-Members.pdf Moderate rebels? Well it’s complicated. Not that this should really come as any surprise. Reuters had reported in 2012 that the FSA’s command was dominated by Islamic extremists, http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/12/07/us-syria-crisis-rebels-idUSBRE8B60QX20121207 and the New York Times had reported that same year http://www.nytimes.com/2012/10/15/world/middleeast/jihadists-receiving-most-arms-sent-to-syrian-rebels.html?pagewanted=all&_r=0 that the majority of the weapons that Washington were sending into Syria was ending up in the hands Jihadists. FOR TWO YEARS THE U.S. GOVERNMENT KNEW THIS WAS HAPPENING BUT DID NOTHING AND CONTINUED DOING IT. And the FSA’s ties to Al-Nusra are just the beginning. In June of 2014 Al-Nusra merged with ISIS at the border between Iraq and Syria. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/al-qaeda/10925602/Al-Qaeda-merges-with-Isis-at-Syria-Iraq-border-town.html In that context, the sarin gas attacks of 2013 which turned out to have been committed by the Syrian rebels, http://scgnews.com/the-syrian-war-what-youre-not-being-told makes a lot more sense doesn’t it? If it wasn’t enough that U.N. investigators, http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-22424188 Russian investigators, http://www.reuters.com/article/2013/07/09/us-syria-crisis-chemical-russia-idUSBRE9680YZ20130709 and Pulitzer prize winning journalist Seymour Hershhttp://www.lrb.co.uk/v35/n24/seymour-m-hersh/whose-sarin all pinned that crime on Washington’s proxies, the rebels themselves threatened the West that they would expose what really happened if they were not given more advanced weaponry within one month. This threat was made on June 10th, 2013. In what can only be described as an amazing coincidence, just nine days later, the rebels received their first official shipment of heavy weapons in Aleppo. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/middleeast/syria/10131063/Syrian-rebels-get-first-heavy-weapons-on-the-front-line-of-Aleppo.html After the second sarin gas fiasco, which was also exposed and therefore failed to garner public support for airstrikes, the U.S. continued to increase its the training and support for the rebels. In February of 2014, Haaretz http://www.haaretz.com/news/middle-east/.premium-1.576083 reported that the U.S. and its allies in the region, Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Israel, were in the process of helping the Syrian rebels plan and prepare for a massive attack in the south. According to Haaretz Israel had also provided direct assistance in military operations against Assad four months prior. Here’s an archive: https://archive.today/qeRSZ Then in May of 2014 PBS ran a report http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/foreign-affairs-defense/syria-arming-the-rebels/syrian-rebels-describe-u-s-backed-training-in-qatar/ in which they interviewed rebels who were trained by the U.S. in Qatar. According to those rebels they were being trained to finish off soldiers who survived attacks.
“They trained us to ambush regime or enemy vehicles and cut off the road,” said the fighter, who is identified only as “Hussein.” “They also trained us on how to attack a vehicle, raid it, retrieve information or weapons and munitions, and how to finish off soldiers still alive after an ambush.” This is a blatant violation of the Geneva conventions. It also runs contrary to conventional military strategy. In conventional military strategy soldiers are better off left wounded, because this ends up costing the enemy more resources. Executing captured enemy soldiers is the kind of tactic used when you want to strike terror in the hearts of the enemy. It also just happens to be standard operating procedure for ISIS. One month after this report, in June of 2014, ISIS made its dramatic entry, crossing over the Syrian border into Iraq, capturing Mosul, Baiji and almost reaching Baghdad. The internet was suddenly flooded with footage of drive by shootings, large scale death marches, and mass graves. And of course any Iraqi soldier that was captured was executed. Massive quantities of American military equipment were seized during that operation. ISIS took entire truckloads of humvees, they took helicopters, tanks, and artillery. http://www.news.com.au/world/iraqi-sunni-insurgents-seize-huge-cache-of-usmade-arms-and-equipment/story-fndir2ev-1226952811362 They photographed and video taped themselves and advertised what they were doing on social media, and yet for some reason Washington didn’t even TRY to stop them. U.S. military doctrine clearly calls for the destruction of military equipment and supplies when friendly forces cannot prevent them from falling into enemy hands, but that didn’t happen here. ISIS was allowed to carry this equipment out of Iraq and into Syria unimpeded. The U.S. military had the means to strike these convoys, but they didn’t lift a finger, even though they had been launching drone strikes in Pakistan that same week. http://www.nytimes.com/2014/06/13/world/asia/pakistan.html Those who know their history will remember that Zbigniew Brzezinski was directly involved in the funding and arming the Islamic extremists in Pakistan and Afghanistan in order to weaken the Soviets. Officially the U.S. government’s arming and funding of the Mujahideen was a response to the Soviet invasion in December of 1979, however in his memoir entitled “From the Shadows” Robert Gates, director of the CIA under Ronald Reagan and George Bush Senior, and Secretary of Defense under both George W. Bush and Barack Obama, revealed that the U.S. actually began the covert operation 6 months prior, with the express intention of luring the Soviets into a quagmire. http://books.google.com/books?id=M51ssIgLMl8C&pg=PA131&lpg=PA131&dq=arnold+horelick+afghanistan&source=bl&ots=Bl7g3nnYYo&sig=dg3QsuSnSTUAeUrAdW8QzNtL5r4&hl=en&sa=X&ei=_sz3U-6tC8OfyASrh4GYDw&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=arnold%20horelick%20afghanistan&f=false The strategy worked. The Soviets invaded, and the ten years of war that followed are considered by many historians as being one of the primary causes of the fall of the USSR. This example doesn’t just establish precedent, what we’re seeing happen in Iraq, Afghanistan and Syria right now is actually a continuation of a old story. Al-Nusra and ISIS are ideological and organizational decedents of these extremist elements that the U.S. government made use of thirty years ago. The U.S. the went on to create a breeding ground for these extremists by invading Iraq in 2003. Had it not been for the vacuum of power left by the removal and execution of Saddam, Al-Qaeda in Iraq, aka ISIS, would not exist. And had it not been for Washington’s attempt at toppling Assad by arming, funding and training shadowy militant groups in Syria, there is no way that ISIS would have been capable of storming into Iraq in June of 2014.

By now, most people on this board are aware of the role of the Obama government in toppling Assad and fostering the rise of ISIS. To say that “Obama created ISIS” is perhaps too simplistic, but the actual truth is no less damning. I’ve made this post, partly to organize my own notes on this subject, but also to seek other references and hopefully reach people who are unaware of the facts and balk at allegations that the US has been involved in any way in the rise of ISIS.
First, the plans to topple Assad’s government in Syria were not laid by Obama’s administration. They are part of a long-term project to maintain control of the region and the petrodollar regime—basically the “neoconservative agenda” spelled out in the “Project for a New American Century”.
http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/pdf/RebuildingAmericasDefenses.pdf (Syria, page 63-64)
And how would the overthrow of Assad be orchestrated? Obama has wished, or sought to create the impression that he wished, to avoid direct military engagement in Syria. Whether for political concerns, to avoid appearing to be a warmonger, or because of a misguided belief that his chosen method of indirect engagement would be somehow more ethical or less brutal, is hard to determine exactly. But here is some mainstream coverage of the reasoning shaping the Obama administration’s policy on removing Assad:
What’s important, though, is that Obama is following through with the PNAC agenda. And the chosen method of engagement, instead of direct military invasion, was subversion through the orchestration of the State Department, the CIA, and regional allies, especially Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
To implement the regime change operation, the first stage was to orchestrate “dissidents” through CIA and State Department sponsored NGOs. To fuel the necessary anti-Assad propaganda campaign, it is first necessary to create the impression that there is a “grassroots” uprising ready to burst out. It should be acknowledged that Assad is not so benevolent a leader that he could not inspire legitimate dissidents, but the fact that mass protest movements were orchestrated was established by leaked cables:
The next stage was to enact a false flag attack that would tarnish Assad’s reputation and provide the pretext of legitimacy for the insurrection that would bring about his removal. Of course, adhering to its policy of avoiding direct involvement, US intelligence orchestrated the gas attack against the protesting dissidents that it helped to put in place by relying on its foreign allies:
And now the “rebels” enter the scene. But only moderate rebels, of course, a phrase chosen no doubt because it causes the reader to imagine there are some tea-sipping British Labor voting type armed insurgents ready to bring about a democratic “Arab Spring” in Syria. Nevermind that some of the principal fighting groups being sponsored are affiliates of Al Qaeda:
And then there is ISIS. Who created ISIS? In a sense, it’s a pointless discussion. Movements like ISIS, like any ideological movement, have antecedents in other movements. According to the conventional view, which we’ll stick to here, its “founder”, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, was a member of Al Qaeda that led the faction of it that would become ISIS. A better question is who pays to arm ISIS, who provides it with intelligence, and who protects it? While ISIS can generate its own revenue to some extent, it would not have been able to operate without funding, principally from Saudi Arabia and Qatar:
Of course, some of John Podesta’s leaked emails confirmed what we already knew there, showing that Hillary Clinton (and implicitly, everyone else privy to the same intelligence knowledge she had) knows that the governments of Saudi Arabia and Qatar are funding ISIS:
But, some may say, that does not mean that the Obama administration knew about or sanctioned this funding of ISIS. And to that, I would say there is evidence they knew, as Michael Flynn former DIA Director explains in the following interview. But I would also add that assuming that US intelligence was not aware that its allies were funding ISIS is naive, and there’s every reason to believe that it’s exactly what they wanted because it would help to achieve their goal of toppling Assad. All we’re missing is hard evidence of direct involvement of US intelligence with ISIS, but there are clues of that too:
Thus are the origins of the Syrian “Civil War”, which brought death and destruction to scores of innocent Syrians and launched the great migration. This humanitarian disaster has not only destroyed this country’s people and infrastructure, its consequences have placed Europe’s security in jeopardy, have propelled the undoing of the EU, and are likely to lead to violence there before all is finally settled.
And for what? I thought it ironic that some people had been criticizing Trump’s pick of Rex Tillerson of Exxon-Mobil, as a demonstration that Trump is getting ready to run the government for big oil—ironic because it has been that way all along. Indeed, the Exxon-Mobil deal with Russia was nixed by Obama, who instead chose to sponsor the Saudi-Qatar pipeline that would need to run through Syria. Leaked cables again show that it was precisely when Assad refused to allow the pipeline to plow through Syria that the plans to topple him were set in motion:
Was reducing Europe’s reliance on Russian oil and catering to Middle Eastern allies by toppling the Syrian government and plunging it into war the more ethical approach? Now that the project has failed, I wonder how it can possibly be justified at all.
Lotta stuff there. Good research. Here is my take on the same story for comparing notes. Cheers.
This is the conspiracy that brought me to this sub. This isnt a left/right issue. It is a US foreign policy issue. This is a post that /u/037_engineering made when they cleaned up one of my old posts. Theirs is better written and less partisan. But its a topic that has been public knowledge for some time but only twice have I seen it spelled out. Once by Assange and once by Greenwald on The Intercept. The reason we can trust this politician in this case is because it is verifiable and documented. If not actually spelled out until just now by Rep. Gabbard.
This entire effort should be done with a low profile, avoiding the massive traditional military operations that are at best temporary solutions. While this military/para-military operation is moving forward, we need to use our diplomatic and more traditional intelligence assets to bring pressure on the governments of Qatar and Saudi Arabia, which are providing clandestine financial and logistic support to ISIL and other radical Sunni groups in the region.
Its necessary to point out that the significance of this email is not what it literally states, obviously the US would rather limit ISIS’ influence in the region. The context is that the US knew that Saudi Arabia was arming ISIS when the US State Department approved $115 Billion Dollars worth of arms deals to Saudi Arabia
Definitions of Terrorism in U.S. Code 18 U.S.C. § 2331 defines “international terrorism” and “domestic terrorism” for purposes of Chapter 113B of the U.S. Code, entitled “Terrorism.”
“International terrorism” means activities with the following three characteristics:
Involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law; Appear to be intended
(iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and Occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S., or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum.*
This is important because it defines who a particular set of enemies of the state are.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
ARTICLE III, SECTION 3, CLAUSE 1
You can decide that this isnt actually treasonous. But you should know that this comes as close as any Presidential Candidate has ever got to crossing that line. Chances are that if you disagree about Clinton or Kerry or Obama’s culpability in this matter, you would have said Reagan and Oliver North were Traitors if you were asked 5 years ago. If you are a liberal ask yourself how you feel about Iran/Contra. If you are being honest with yourself you know that these two scenario’s are closer related than is comfortable.
It is also likely that some of the small arms in IS’ possession – such as an M4 carbine-style Bushmaster X15E2S manufactured in the USA and documented in IS’ arsenal entered Iraq with private security companies during the US occupation and found their way into Iraqi arms markets.
A few months prior The Guardian reported:
a recently declassified secret US intelligence report, written in August 2012, which uncannily predicts – and effectively welcomes – the prospect of a “Salafist principality” in eastern Syria and an al-Qaida-controlled Islamic state in Syria and Iraq. In stark contrast to western claims at the time, the Defense Intelligence Agency document identifies al-Qaida in Iraq (which became Isis) and fellow Salafists as the “major forces driving the insurgency in Syria” – and states that “western countries, the Gulf states and Turkey” were supporting the opposition’s efforts to take control of eastern Syria.
Maybe you would like The Intercept to clarify a few things:
Clinton openly criticized the Saudi, Qatari, and Kuwaiti governments for failing “to stop their citizens from funding extremist organizations.” Her newly released 2014 email goes a step further, directly attributing support for ISIS to the Saudi government.
This brings us to The Refugee Crisis (BBC) in Europe. This is projected to cost Germany alone well north of a Trillion dollars(Express) over the next 2 decades. A cost which could conceivably be passed on to the US (WaPo) because of America’s insistence of supporting terrorist states (The Guardian). ISIS has claimed responsibility for attacks (CBS) on Belgium when they bombed the airport at Brussels (NYT), France at Charlie Hebdo and Bataclan theater (NYT), Australia, Russia, Lebanon and others that could potentially lay financial culpability on the US.
This has had significant effect on international relationships too that threaten the longest peace in western Europe since Augustus Caeser. According to Vox “Anti-immigrant backlash is driving support for Brexit which was only exacerbated by continental Europe’s refugee crisis. Rape (is) A ‘Significant And Disturbing’ Feature Of Syrian War according to NPR. Would the Leave Campaign been as successful if Scandinavian (NYT) and German (Reuters) women were not being raped (The Guardian)and assaulted in the hundreds? By weakening the EU with Brexit (ABC) as a result of “xenophobic fears” Europe faces a crisis:
TL;DR: State Department skirts along the definitions of Treason by knowingly selling weapons to people that are arming enemies of the US. This has created a destabilized Middle East that in turn caused a mass emigration to Europe that has also contributed to Brexit and may lead to the dissolution of the EU and NATO according to the Prime Minister of France and several key members of NATO, including Turkey – the 4th largest military in the world.
Since the Podesta Leak in October, Rep. (and Veteran) Tulsi Gabbard has introduced a bill to make this kind of thing explicitly illegal. And to add to that, here is the spin NPR put on the bill: Rep. Tulsi Gabbard Introduces Bill To Halt U.S. Arms Supplies To Syrian Alliesas if the legislation isnt in direct response to the State Department actions regarding ISIS.
It’s a bit frustrating how much public denial there is, especially when it’s become obvious Turkey is buying ISIS oil, and Israel is ending up with most of it. This is funding ISIS, to the tune of $1.5M per day.
ISIS is a tool of the west, that’s why NATO just decided against having troops on the ground to fight ISIS. Because ISIS is our Ally, not our enemy! They want to overthrow Assad in Syria and install an Israel/US friendly puppet government, instead of the Russia/Iran puppet government that is currently in place.
It’s the same reason Russia made more progress in bombing ISIS in 2 days than the US did in 2 years. Because the US wasn’t really bombing them. They were telling them to evacuate the buildings before they bombed them, and they were also bombing empty fields.
Why does ISIS drive 95% Toyota Tacoma/Hilux trucks? Because the Department of State gave them to them.
All this is because ISIS is the US government’s secret allies, because Israel wants to overthrow Syria, but the western governments don’t want anyone to know who is doing it because it is illegal under international law. More importantly it undermines international confidence in our trustworthiness and other nations may refuse to trade with us and ally with us if they know we are openly using such dirty tactics involving so many foreign mercenaries to the point where we created an entire army with a name, ISIS. So instead we act like it’s all 100% ISIS’s fault, and that the US/Israel had nothing to do with it other than making some Muslims mad from previous bombings. This is the narrative of all the media channels.
But now that the west has gotten caught by the international media in funding and arming ISIS, they pretend it’s all Turkey and Saudi Arabia. They’re the next level of fall guys after the pure ISIS blame. Israel and the US are running out of layers of credible deniability if Americans would just wise up a bit. But people are largely eating up the story that it’s 100% Turkey and Saudi Arabia’s faults. But who grows the military of these countries? NATO and the US. Who controls both those? The Israeli Government (or Zionists, to be more accurate, which is a religious ideology about retaking Mount Zion in Jerusalem that is intertwined with the goals of the Israeli Government including expanding Israel to overtake Palestine). That’s why Israeli lobbyists make up the biggest lobbying groups in the US. That’s why Israel is our #1 military aid recipient.
The US is the #1 arms exporter in the world. The CIA is known for overthrowing countries and installing new governments. People know these individual facts, but they need to step back and put the pieces together.
Syria is being overthrown because they want control of the land, the oil, the pipeline routes, the central bank, the war reconstruction profits, and the government. They want it all. And why not sell a few thousand missiles and bombs and drones and tanks in the meantime? For them, this is win win. Profits and power gains. They care not for the human death toll, except for how it hurts their PR image. So that’s just a matter of media messaging, to convince the public it’s for humanitarian reasons (“Assad is gassing his own people and we need to stop him!”). Or revenge reasons. (“Paris attack was done by ISIS, let’s bomb Syria, fuck those guys!”) The public is convinced, and they keep getting away with it. Emotional manipulation.
Boiled down, it’s simple. The western governments are supporting ISIS, not fighting them. And who is the head of the western governments: The US and Israel.
Why do 90% of Americans have so much trouble thinking in this direction? I guess people just really don’t want to believe that their media and government could tell such a dirty deep lie so consistently, that they’ve all been fooled, and that the media and government just simply 100% can’t be trusted to deliver truthful information anymore, even on the big stuff. That’s a big pill to swallow. Too big for 90% of Americans? Mark Twain said it’s easier to fool a man than it is to convince him he’s been fooled. This is because of pride and ego, which Americans have no shortage of. We’re far too busy justifying mistakes to be able learn from them.
How far away does the media have to get from reality before people start connecting the dots?
They say every new truth goes through 3 stages of public acceptance as the idea spreads:
- It is ignored, laughed at, ridiculed.
- Then, it is opposed and debated furiously.
- Last, it is accepted as obvious fact.
I think when it comes to this subject matter, the American public is still largely in stage 1, quite unfortunately. People are in stage 2 about Turkey and Saudi’s relationship to ISIS, but the US and Israel are left unquestioned by the MSM. I think Russia is in stage 3 about this, Putin called out the US’s behavior to the UN in a recent speech, and many other speeches before. In Russia this is open and well-known, but in the US it is a dirty secret that is being covered up by propaganda as much as possible.
I just really don’t get how people are still fooled by this, much less 90% of Americans. It’s time as a culture we wake up and embrace what may be a scary truth, so that we can make positive progress. The fact we are being lied to is out in the open. We can’t accomplish anything while everyone is in denial of what the problem is, as Americans largely are.
We can’t depend on any media to do this for us, we must talk to each other. It’s clear the media has no interest in conveying truth anymore, it is simply a propaganda machine for the governments of Israel and the US, and for the corporations (many of whom make up the military-industrial complex), so now it is up to us to communicate the truth to each other. The burden is on us to grow beyond our emotional attachments to our worldviews, and to see the world from many different angles so that we can see the truth, and to help each other see that truth.

Bump to wake people up.
EDIT A comprehensive link explaining the whole picture in the middle east and peppered with videos. We train extremists, use them, and discard them when we’re done. It started with the mujahideen against the Soviets, we installed Saddam Hussein, we created Al qaeda and now they’ve been re-branded as “ISIS”.
My question: If the beheading videos are fake – are any stories of them in combat real ?
